Great Taste Dim Sum in Selangor, Malaysia
By Rosemarie John - Tucked away in the
corner of an over-crowded and ever growing residential area of USJ in
Selangor, is a delectable Dim Sum restaurant that offers some of the
best bite-sized portions of pork, chicken and more. Not as famous as it
should be, Great Taste Hong Kong Dim Sum truly lives up to its name.
Offering a variety of dishes either steamed, fried or baked, this Cantonese cuisine is a lovely way to start your morning. Heading there for lunch, tea or dinner is great either way, just don’t forget to head over with an empty stomach. Each dish is unique and ranges around and average of MYR3.00 each.
Flavourful and simply addictive, some of their must tries are the Chillies with Fish Paste, Glutinous Rice Village style, Steamed Char Siew Bao, Pork Ribs with Black Beans, Beancurd Rolls with Oyster Sauce and Steamed Har Gao’s.
Ending a hearty meal at Great Taste can go no other way than biting down on their flaky and crispy Egg Tarts. With a striking bright yellow in the centre, its light golden pastry just crumbles at every bite offering a sweet and satisfying moment. As tempting as they look, it cannot hurt to try them out at the very beginning!

Singapore_The world`s largest oceanarium
Laying claim as the world’s largest
oceanarium, the S.E.A Aquarium at Marine Life Park, Resorts World
Sentosa, Singapore is home to approximately 800 species of marine
animals.
Containing a total of 45,000,000 litres of water for 100,000 marine
animals, the Aquarium is sure to impress. The Open Ocean habitat, which
is the centerpiece of the Aquarium, includes the world’s largest viewing
panel. At 118 ft wide and 27 ft tall, it is intended to give visitors
the feeling of being on the ocean floor. Many visitors choose to sit on
the floor watching leopard sharks, saw fish and mahi mahi swim by while
admiring the squadron of magnificent manta rays and glittering schools
of scads, fusiliers and rainbow runners create a continuous dance in
perfect unison.
With 10 aquarium zones, the Aquarium is home to enormous goliath
groupers, moray eels, napoleon wrasse, emperor nautilus, sea nettle and
other gentle giants of the sea. While the Aquarium boasts a myriad of
tiny to medium range creatures that reside in the deep blue sea,
mangrove waters and African lakes, it somewhat lacks in the area of
larger marine life or marine mammals. The habitat of sharks fail to
impress if you’re one to expect larger predators like those found in the
Sydney Sealife Aquarium. Apart from that single let down, the
oceanarium is an interesting place to visit to learn more about sea
life.
